This commercial workshop extension for Jim Russ focused on maximising operational efficiency and future-proofing the facility against Northland’s demanding weather elements. To streamline and optimise their high-volume panel beating operations, the existing workspace layout was completely reconfigured alongside the construction of a substantial new footprint. The structural foundation required precision-engineered footings and a heavy-duty concrete slab specifically designed to support massive pre-cast tilt panels. In addition to executing comprehensive interior alterations to ensure strict compliance with modern Fire Regulations, the team completed specialized, high-capacity drainage infrastructure engineered to easily handle excessive rain events, alongside a dedicated, fully compliant exterior wash bay.
